9-string gusli by Theodor Bastard designed in collaboration with the Mir Gusley manufactory. The body is made of alder, the resonance soundboard is made of spruce, the bridge is made of beech. The design of the resonator rosette was made by Yana Veva.
The size of the gusli is 79x19x4cm (excluding tuners), and the weight is only 1.4 kg.
The gusli kit includes a tuning key and a gift Theodor Bastard "Volch'ya Yagoda" CD.

Initially, the gusli is a primordially Russian multi-string plucked instrument, the history of which goes back several millennia. And this is one of the most frequently used instruments of Theodor Bastard both in the concert program and when recording albums.

It took Theodor Bastard and the founder of the Mir Gusley manufactory Sergey Gorchakov more than a year to develop this unique instrument. The Mir Gusley manufactory is practically the only artel in Russia that revives this ancient instrument and the traditions of playing it. Theodor Bastard author's gusli embody the ancient canons of manufacturing with modern technologies that provide all the necessary requirements for a professional instrument:
1. Bright, clear, but at the same time deep, full of overtones sound.
This requirement is ensured by special beech bridge. The clarity of the sound is achieved through special interaction with the soundboard. The deck itself is made of spruce. The body is made of alder.
2. Clear tuning, without the need to regularly adjust the pitch.
Thanks to the beech bar, the instrument holds perfectly in tune. The tuners and strings are made of steel.
3. Compact size: the gusli is easy to take with you. The smooth shape of the instrument allows you to comfortably hold it in your hands while playing. And the author's rosette in the form of the "Volch'ya Yagoda" album logo makes them unique and very beautiful.
